It aims at bringing together organisations that share a common concern for the advancement of children’s wellbeing as outlined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of Children and other international human rights agreements; to act as a catalyst of change in building a child friendly nation, through the promotion, protection and fulfilment of the Rights of the Child, whilst advocating for children to participate meaningfully in all aspects of their lives, especially in matters affecting them, such as the formulation of policies and decisions which impact on their lives.
